You get to see each character’s point of view and dive deep down into what they see the world around them as. Think wise. Don't let only one opinion affect you.

Calvn Asher
Early life
(1995 to 2002)He was born and raised on his father’s side of the house - which is in Taipei, Taiwan. His mum didn’t know how to speak Mandarin, and she was often really clumsy at taking care of him. The doctors diagnosed her as ‘can not get pregnant’, and it was a miracle that Cal was here with her. She did everything humanly possible that her only son would not lack anything. Despite her limitations, she spoiled him with his favourite things. She was so attached to him. And, with that, he should have been a brat. But since he spent most of his early life living in a strict Asian household, having to witness his mum cry every time she got yelled at by a father’s relative had an amount of impact on him.
Cal had a difficult time in school since he looked a lot different from the other kids. Blond hair, blue eyes, and pale skin were all from his mother’s genetics, making him look nothing like his father. His relatives disapproved of Cal, but despite everything, his father still loved him with his whole heart. Being unable to speak Mandarin fluently was the endpoint of his grandparents. They despised it when his mum taught him about English more than Mandarin. Cal knew about it, so instead, he often used hand language to communicate with others. For example, pointing at stuff to his mum when he wanted it, etc. From then on, he barely opened his mouth.
(2002 to 2004)
Noticing the concerning signs of their son, Cal’s parents immediately knew they had to take matters into their own hands. They bid their relatives goodbye and moved to Toronto, Canada. Cal spent half of his childhood in his house since his parents homeschool him; they were worried their son was going to end up getting picked on for his odd behaviour. And because of that, Cal did not make any friends his age. He’d rather stay at home all day long with his mother’s side grandparents since they were gentle to him. They taught a bit of French along with English because he was not good at communicating in any of the languages. Around that time, his father was low on income since he had to find a new stable job. They were living on his mother’s paycheck and their grandparents’ insurance. But then came a spark of light when his father finally found a job. The only problem is it was in America, so they gathered everything and went there by car.
